Genie Knuckle Boom Lift

Genie Knuckle Boom Lift

Genie Knuckle boom lifts are strong four wheel steering and four wheel drive capable machinery that allow work to be done efficiently, even if the terrain is rough. The ALC 1000 electronic controls are a menu-based system which allows the user to easily calibrate the equipment and its parts. System diagnostics are available in various languages. There are dual fuel options available on the Z-80/60 model. The optional Deutz diesel powered engine is turbocharged, but quiet. It allows for enhanced performance at higher altitudes. Furthermore, it carries more than enough torque for better terrain- and grade-ability.

The full-time positive traction and 4-wheel drive ability adds better traction for tough terrain. The Z-135/70 only offers four-wheel steering. Optional features on this model include crab, coordinated, front wheel, and rear wheel steering to give the machinery added agility. on the Z-80/60 helps improve wheel contact on irregular ground. All of these features truly make Genie Knuckle Boom lifts smoother and easier to use on uneven terrain.

Though these models are bigger compared to other Genie engine-powered articulating Z-booms, they have features like continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs to provide the user with incredible range of motion and reach. The Z-boom design gives the models exceptional over and up positioning capability that varies from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 unit to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 unit. The XChassis expanding axle is an innovatively designed mechanism used for both retracting and extending axles in and out of stowed position. The width of the Z-135/70 model machine is only 2.46 meters when the axle is stowed. For easier transport, the Z-80/60 has fixed width axles.
