Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Back-Up or Motion Alarms:
The audible devices like back-up alarms or motion alarms produce sound which needs to be loud enough to be heard above the noise that the forklift generates in the operating area.
The sound has to be readily discernible from other audible devices or noises within the work setting. Sound should be readily distinguishable from other sound or audible devices in the work place. The audible device can end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; thus, care must be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to distinguish what direction and distance it is coming from. Audible devices could occasionally get disabled from workers and operators since they could find them very irritating. What's more, audible devices can also be objectionable to residents nearby.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: Operator enclosed cabs help to protect the operator from the elements. They use tempered glass so as to prevent injuries. Furthermore, these cabs feature an emergency exit via removing the window. The levels of noise are lessened at the operator's ear due to additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each specific application, the operator could choose the performance requirement. Furthermore, it enables a supervisor to set the model's utmost performance for an operator who is just starting to learn. Being able to adjust and lessen the maximum performance of the model allows a new operator to learn the operating features of the machinery in a controlled setting.
Impact Monitor: The impact monitor deactivates the unit and when this happens, it requires a supervisor to re-enable and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machine in a more controlled manner.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These mirrors serve as an aid to the operator in observing the operating environment behind the truck as well as the tail swing area.
