Skyjack Straight Man lifts

Skyjack Straight Man lifts

Man Lift Designs
On the market nowadays, there is a huge array of articulating lifts, with various styles of lifts to fit each application, circumstance and work venue. There are some manufacturers who specify in lifts for dangerous atmospheres like for example underground tunnel situations, petro-chemical plants, and other places where there is a danger of explosive gases or dust, for example in grain-processing plants.

Other lifts have been designed especially to mount onto big flatbed trucks or onto trailers or onto the back of a pick up truck. There are types of lifts that incorporate articulating booms which can be self-propelled and are controlled by the lift operator, whilst others have the ability to pivot 360 degrees.

There are both outdoor and indoor lift models. They come in both 2-wheel and 4-wheel powered choices. In several cases, the platforms are adjustable and some models have baskets where the worker stands. These baskets or platforms are adjustable and enable the workers to swing into place or remain level, depending on what the operator must finish the job. There are some platforms and baskets which come wired so as to enable the operator to plug tools in as required.
