Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You could usually find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also referred to as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to transport products and materials around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which raises the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one person.
Pallet trucks should be operated carefully in order to avoid loss of control while raising heavy loads. Equipment must be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make certain that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be carefully stacked to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to be able to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks can then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be in the middle to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is not safe to push the pallet in front of you since the thrust could cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
