Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts provide height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Regular lift trucks can not move the load away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to raise workers. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
